Welcome!
I am a Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Toulouse (IAST) and the Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE). I obtained my PhD at the Max Planck Institue for Evolutionary Anthropology, Germany.
My research aims to answer: why people have children? I tackle it from an evolutionary perspective and use the theoretical frameworks of life history theory, behavioural ecology, and cultural evolution. I use diverse quantitative methods such as computational models and Bayesian statistics to analyse empirical data from cross-sectional, longitudinal, and cross-cultural sources.
